William Byron's Thoughts:
"I am really looking forward to Michigan this weekend. JR Motorsports has been strong there in the past and our No. 9 Liberty University team is excited to get there. It's a fast track and I am ready to see what we can do in the race."
Notes:
• William Byron remains third in the NASCAR Xfinity Series points standings following last weekend's event in Pocono.
• The 19-year-old has one previous start at Michigan International Speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series where he finished fourth after leading nine laps.
• Byron has one top-five finish this season on a 2-mile track, after finishing fifth at Auto Club Speedway earlier this year.
