William Byron's Thoughts: "It is going to be a great race this weekend. The repave at Texas is a little treacherous and there aren’t a lot of grooves, which will make this weekend's race fun and intense. We have some good momentum going into this weekend's race and this Liberty University team has worked hard during the off-week to build a great Chevrolet for the second race in the Round of 8."
• William Byron comes into this weekend’s race at Texas, occupying the second spot in the NXS Playoffs. Byron also continues to lead the Sunoco Rookie of the Year standings by 41 over Daniel Hemric.
• Byron led 17 laps at Texas earlier this year before finishing seventh. The 19-year-old holds two previous NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at the track where he brought home one win (spring 2016) and a sixth-place finish.
• On tracks measuring 1.5 miles in length this season, Byron has an average starting position of 8.3 and an average finish of 13.3.
