William Byron's Thoughts: "I am ready to get to Phoenix this weekend. We qualified on the pole there in the spring and I feel great about our short-track program. We want and need to have a solid race on Saturday, so we can clinch our spot going into the championship race in Homestead."

Notes:
• William Byron is currently second in the NXS point standings, only five markers behind Elliott Sadler. The 19-year-old continues to lead the rookie standings.
• Byron made his first NXS start at Phoenix Raceway earlier this season, capturing his first series pole and bringing home a fourth-place finish. He has two previous NCWTS starts at the raceway earning one pole award and leading 112 laps.
• The Charlotte native has 10 starts this season on tracks measuring 1 mile or less, which include four top-five and seven top-10 finishes, with two pole wins (Phoenix, Dover II) and one win (Iowa).
