CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Feb. 11, 2020) – William Byron eSports announced today that Sim Seats has joined the newly established team as an associate sponsor for the 2020 eNASCAR iRacing World Championship Series season. Their logo will be featured on the No. 25 Logitech G Chevrolet driven by Nick Ottinger, and the No. 97 William Byron eSports Chevrolet driven by John Gorlinsky.
Sim Seats has been designing, fabricating and installing high-quality driving simulators including motion systems since 2009. Their customer base includes racers from amateur to the professional ranks – including team owner and NASCAR Cup Series driver William Byron.
“We are excited to have Sim Seats on board with us at William Byron eSports," said William Byron. "iRacing was my entry point into racing. It gave me the opportunity to learn a lot before taking the next steps. As I moved up through the NASCAR series, I leaned on it to prepare for races, especially early on when I was going to tracks for the first time. The Sim Seats rig and motion package really creates that authentic feeling.”
The 2020 season kicks off Feb. 11 at the virtual Daytona International Speedway. The race will be streamed live on iRacing’s Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube channels at 9 p.m. EST/6 PST.
